BIG wheeled machines with grunt will be at the Scenic Rim Agricultural Expo along with the experts in top notch farming machinery.
SEQ Tractors have supplied machinery and carried out repairs on farm equipment for 25 years.
Theirs is a foundation built on the back of good customer service.
Buying farm equipment from the company means benefitting from their expertise and experience.
Advice and the after-sale relationship means you’re not just buying a machine, you’re becoming part of the SEQ Tractor family.
The Expo brings the company to Harrisville and with them come big wheeled machines and all manner of equipment.
Ross Lehmann, one of the company’s owners, is always ready to give advice and listen to challenges faced by farmers.
Ross runs the company with brother Bruce and their wives Katherine and Helen.
Perhaps a reason they understand farming is because that’s what they used to do.
It was November 1998 when farm machinery became a viable option as a sustainable business.
The Lehmann brothers’ base was a dairy farm and crops were also grown.
Bruce was working full time as a mechanic while brother Ross was away for weeks at a time taking care of the farm contracting business.
Bruce had a reputation as being able to fix anything he turned his hand to and was particularly adept at repairing Fiat tractors.
Then one day he resigned his position and joined Ross on the family farm. “After a few weeks, the farmers realising Bruce was not there to fix their mostly Fiat tractors, began to call him direct.” Ross said.
As news spread that the Lehmann’s had started to branch out, farmers began calling, asking for advice and help.
They acquired a Valtra dealership and SEQ Tractors was born.
If you’re just starting out, why not seek them out, they may have something in mind you’ve not considered.
Face to face interaction at the Expo gives visitors a chance to ask all the hard questions to SEQ’s knowledgeable staff.
And remember, when you buy equipment from SEQ Tractors you’re not just buying machinery, you’re joining a family.
