FORMER serviceman Glen Dore spends his time painting beautiful artwork and making large scale models of military aeroplanes.

A mural painted by Glen is a standout feature at Rosewood Community Garden.

He was commissioned to airbrush an image that children would like onto a large board.

Once completed, it was attached to a fence in the children’s section of the garden.

It is bright, colourful and filled with cartoon bugs and insects that have googly eyes.

The mural is the first of a series the artist has been commissioned to paint for the gardens.
