A SIX lot subdivision has been proposed for land beside Dances Road at Mt Marrow.
The landowners are hoping to gain approval for a ‘large lot residential’ subdivision at 108 Dances Road.
Five of the lots are proposed to range in size from 3,095sqm to 4,040sqm with the sixth lot being the ‘balance lot’ of just over 19ha.
Town planning agents for the landowners noted that the property contained two dwellings and associated outbuildings.
“Therefore, the land is currently used for residential purposes, supportive of the zone [large lot residential] intent.
“The land is 20.92ha, providing ample space for further intensification and subdivision of large suburban allotment styles.
“The premises also has [a] dual frontage arrangement from Dances Road and Pindari Drive, providing easy access opportunities.”
It was also noted that Dances Road is a council maintained gravel road and Pindari Drive is to be upgraded to a ‘collector street’ standard as part of a subdivision approval granted in 2022. As part of the same approval, a cul-de-sac is to be constructed on Dances Road.
Council planners are currently reviewing the subdivision application.
