Aged care builds on success of TV projects
1 min read

LEADING national aged care provider Infinite Care has partnered with Intergenerational Learning Australia to launch an online intergenerational program with Gold Coast school Coomera Anglican College.

Intergenerational Learning Australia are behind the ABC series, ‘Old Peoples Home for Four-Year-Olds’ and ‘Old Peoples Home for Teenagers’. They facilitate this pilot program which involves students from the school connecting with residents at Infinite Care Cornubia's aged care facility via video.

The program provides an opportunity for the students and residents to learn from

each other through jokes, music, games and interview type questions.

“The online program is a great way to bring intergenerational learning to the classroom and provide meaningful connections between young people and older adults,” Infinite Care Founder and Joint Managing Director Chris Stride said.

“We’re excited to be partnering with Coomera Anglican College to make this program a success and hope that programs like this end up being in all our homes as the benefits to our residents are immeasurable.”
