First residents move in to Marburg Land Estate
1 min read

THE first residents are set to move in to Marburg Land Estate this month with most of the homes in Stage One close to completion.

Launched in September 2021, the 15 large blocks in Stage One sold out quickly. Stage 2 is now on the market with 10 of the 16 blocks sold within two weeks of the gates opening on the final release for the estate.

The large blocks from 2,600sqm to just over 3,000sqm are a rare find in the area, situated next to Marburg Hills estate off Owens Street.

Ray White Ipswich principal Warren Ramsey said the estate attracted buyers from around South East Queensland who were after a tree change, attracted by the large blocks and convenience and beauty of picturesque Marburg.

“Over half of the people are about to move into Stage One in their new houses.

“In Stage Two, 10 lots have sold and another three are close. Marburg is such a nice, family village. It is a nice place to be, nice feel. You’ve got the large lots, up high with beautiful views.

“The estate is attracting mostly buyers from Ipswich and western Brisbane, all owner-occupiers, nice, big homes. They love the room to move; build a big shed and a pool and spread out, plus you are so close to town.

“I am not surprised at how quick the lots are selling. If I had another 100 I would sell them too.”

Mr Ramsey described the estate as a hidden gem nestled amongst picturesque hills and said the quality of the large blocks was hard to find.

“There is a little bit of land on the northern side of Marburg earmarked for an urban footprint but there are no development applications in yet,” he said.

“There is a lot of subdivision at Kalbar and out further at Hatton Vale but this is such a handy position.”

The estate offers the perfect balance between natural beauty and modern convenience in Marburg with a serene and scenic backdrop for a rural retreat, 15 minutes away from Ipswich CBD.

Stage Two lots are on the market from $425,000.
