CONGRATULATIONS to Ipswich Tribune editor Brian Bennion for winning the prestigious 2023 Clarion Award for his Indigenous Issues Reporting on the Deebing Heights development and the nearby historic Aboriginal massacre which the judges said reflected its regional and national importance.

It’s tremendous for our city to have a highly respected, award winning journalist bringing us quality reporting each week.
