
POLICE have charged two men in relation to a serious assault incident at Rosewood on August 23.
Police will allege that at approximately 8.15pm, a series of altercations involving three men occurred along Royal George Lane and John Street.
A Rosewood man, 26, sustained serious injuries to his face and was transported to Ipswich Base Hospital for treatment.
Following investigations, police charged two men on August 25.
A Rosewood man, 46, was charged with one count each of assault occasioning bodily harm and wilful damage.
An Ipswich man, 21, was charged with one count each of assault occasioning bodily harm, and wilful damage.
Both men are due to appear before Ipswich Magistrates Court on September 18.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information or vision of the incident to contact police.
Investigations are ongoing.
