Rosewood Show Ball signals the lead up to the Show

THE Rosewood Show Ball has kicked off the lead up to the 2024 show weekend, which is set to return on Friday, June 28 and Saturday, June 29. The Rosewood Show Ball was held on Saturday (June 8) at the Rosewood Cultural Centre where Sophie Geddes was named Princess, Wyatt DeLangen was named Prince and Kelly-Lea Wormington was named Queen.

“We’re very excited to bring you a jam-packed two-day show, from our Friday night Bull Ride, which will also feature performances from the High Impact Due Fire Show (from 6.05pm) and the Australian country music duo, Route 33 who will entertain crowds into the night,” said Show President, Pat Lenihan.

“Our Saturday program has all your family favourites including pig races, reptile demonstrations and pony rides as well as cattle judging, horse events, arts, horticulture and honey, photography and new to the program this year we have a kid’s hot dog eating competition and an adults burger eating competition, sponsored by the Rising Sun Hotel.

“Our Saturday evening entertainment program will feature the very popular ‘Horse Liberty’ performance from Rooftop Express (from 3.45pm), dog jumping from 4pm, the Australian International Freestyle Motocross team, FMX Kaos from 5.45pm followed by Rooftop Express’ ‘Ducks, Dogs & Dancing’ show, and FMX Kaos will close out the night.”
