The development application plans show the single storey, 40-foot shipping container would be constructed to fit the needs of a canteen.

The canteen would be located near the existing bar and TAB building on site at the showgrounds.
THE Marburg showgrounds committee are hoping the Ipswich City Council will give the go ahead to add a canteen to the showgrounds.
The application for a Material Change of Use (rezoning) revealed the kitchen was set to be a single storey, 40-foot shipping container, constructed to fit the needs of a canteen.
If given the green light by council, the proposed building will be used by the Marburg Pacing Association.
The canteen will be used during Marburg racing events and during the current hours of operation, from 11.00am to 5.00pm.
The application shows the container will be located away from the road frontage, near the existing bar and TAB building on site.
Given the minor nature of the building, the application outlined the grounds would not require any extra parking, toilet facilities, security elements and the new addition would use the existing waste removal process on site.
